Schools & OSHC Groups

Updated this week

Looking for the perfect excursion to get students thinking, moving, and connecting with nature? TreeClimb offers a unique outdoor learning environment that fosters team spirit, problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. It's the ideal way to nurture productivity in nature while building confidence in a challenging, yet supportive, environment.

Enriched Learning Outdoors

We provide a unique setting for effective learning outside the classroom. For groups requiring an educational element, we offer:

  • Education Programs: Complete with relevant pre-climb and post-climb modules.

  • Curriculum Alignment: Learning outcomes from the experience at TreeClimb are aligned with the Australian Curriculum, in collaboration with ACHPER SA.

Courses & Requirements

TreeClimb is suitable for groups of all sizes, with options for various age and height ranges:

  • Kid's Course: For children a minimum of 100cm tall.

  • Grand Course: For adults and young adults a minimum of 135cm tall.

  • Mixing Courses: If some students aren't tall enough for the Grand Course but others are, that's not a problem! You can book students across both courses. Simply let us know your preferred duration (80 minutes or 2 hours) and the approximate number of climbers for each course, and we will tailor a quote specifically for your group.

Duration of Your Climb

Your booked session includes both your harnessing and safety induction within the climb time:

  • Kid's Course: 80 minutes of scheduled climb time.

  • Grand Course (and other applicable tickets): 2 hours of scheduled climb time.

Important Information & Pricing

Here's key information regarding pricing and what's included:

  • Kid's Course Admission: Generally ranges from $25.50 - $36.50 per person.

  • Grand Course Student Admission: Generally ranges from $30.50 - $49.50 per person (note: this price does not include gloves).

  • Gloves: Gloves are mandatory for all climbers on the Grand Course (and recommended on the Kids Course). They cost $4.50 each, or you can bring your own.

Booking & Payment Process

  • Booking Up to 15 Climbers: Groups of 15 and under are welcome to book online via our website.

  • Booking 16+ Climbers: For larger groups, please send through an enquiry via phone (08 7089 4490) or email ([email protected]). Groups of 20 or more climbers will need to be split over multiple start times to manage harnessing sessions efficiently (maximum 15 per session).

  • Payment Terms:

    • Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at the time of making the booking.

    • Final Numbers & Payment: This is due 7 days prior to your climb. Neglecting to make this final payment will result in the cancellation of your booking.

    • No-Shows: On the day of your climb, if we have held spaces for climbers who do not arrive, you will be charged full price for them, unless we are notified at least 48 hours before your booking.

  • Special Time Requests: We understand some groups may require a later session than what is regularly offered. These requests are subject to the manager’s discretion and require a minimum of 15 climbers. You will be charged for the minimum 15 even if fewer attend, due to extra staffing.

Discounts for Larger Groups (School Holidays & Weekends):

  • Grand Course: Groups of 20+ climbers on the Grand Course may receive $4 off per person.

  • Kids Course: Groups of 20+ climbers on the Kids Course may receive $2 off per person.

  • Please note: These discounted prices cannot be applied in conjunction with another discount or towards off-peak prices.

Arrival & On-the-Day Tips

  • Arrival Time: Your booked time is your start time for the experience. You need to be in venue, checking-in at least 20 minutes prior to your start time.

  • Organised Groups: If you have a large group booked over multiple start times, please have each group pre-organised when you arrive. This helps our crew and ensures your group gets the most out of their time.

  • Allow Extra Time: It is really important you arrive early and prior to your start time. If you are late, we can’t guarantee your time will be extended, and it can also interrupt other climbers' experiences.

  • Food & Drinks: You are more than welcome to BYO food, drinks, tables, chairs, or other activities. Please keep in mind we cannot hold or store any of your items (including cold food) in our fridges or back rooms. We have a beautiful location and a cosy café where you can purchase hot and cold food and drinks, as well as utilise our own tables and chairs.

Educators on the Courses

Educators do not NEED to climb, however, you definitely can if you would like to join in the fun! Please let us know at the time of booking how many educators are expected to climb.
